Nawaf Abdulla is the Executive Vice President of Container Terminals within the DP World GCC Region, bringing a wealth of international experience and a forward-thinking approach to the role. He oversees the operations and strategic direction of container terminals within the Port, with responsibilities spanning safety and security risk management, operational efficiency and performance, strategic planning, financial performance, stakeholder engagement, technology integration, compliance, and team leadership with a focus on career growth and development.

Since joining DP World in 1997 as a Documentation Assistant Supervisor, Nawaf has built an impressive career, holding executive positions across Djibouti, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Cyprus, and Belgium before returning to the UAE in late 2024. With over 12 years of international leadership experience, he is well positioned to drive continued growth, innovation, and sustainable practices within DP World’s Container Terminals. Nawaf holds a diploma in Maritime & Port Management from the Singapore Institute of Management.
