Antonoaldo Neves is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Aviation Group.

Prior to taking the helm at Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates,Antonoaldo was the CEO and Board Member of TAP Air Portugal, where he was responsible forleading a major turnaround that contributed significantly to the development of tourism in Portugal.

Antonoaldo has also previously served as the President of Azul Linhas Aéreas in Brazil, where he successfully led the airline to an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange, and was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he was responsible for the long-term development plan for Brazil’s aviation sector.

Beginning his career as a civil engineer, Antonoaldo holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the IAG Business School at PUC-Rio.
